The Chandler Longwing gets it's name from the wing shaped vamp overlay that extends all the way back to the heel of the shoe. The long wing has become an icon of American style, it embodies strength and rugged sophistication. The heavy look of the longwing is accented here by a leather storm welt and easily stands up to heavy wool or tweed suits and slacks. The longwing is one of the few exceptions when we would recommend wearing a dress shoe with denim.Each pair is fully lined with tan cowhide and the bottoms are crafted using natural leather midsoles with our oiled "watertight" leather outsole. The final touch is our leather heel with full Rancourt & Co. rubber tap. The rubber tap heel and watertight leather outsole offer the greatest durability one could hope for in a leather outsole.
